Melbourne Photographer Portrait Sessions | Jake Baker

Jake Baker, legs crossed black & white portrait on timber floor

Jake Baker is a pretty interesting bloke. One of the popular athletes on Australian Ninja Warrior, I was excited to be the chosen Melbourne portrait photographer for his session. One Thursday afternoon, we talked fluidly for over 3 hours and Jake helped direct our portrait session with each story he shared. The portraits moved through different phases and Baker changed clothing as much as I changed direction & lighting. Mixing ambient light and off camera flash, I tried to match every photograph to the stories revealed.

My goal as a Melbourne photographer is to help you tell your story. When you step into my studio or invite me to your home and the conversation starts to flow, I’m listening intently. We all have a story to share. My biggest dream is to hear those stories and help make them come to life. To give a visual representation of our time on Earth.
